This one's a really old one and I believe it never got completed. It was written on Oct/31/2008, and was supposed to have multiple parts but that never happened. Well I'm going to publish it anyways now. So have a happy reading which will definitely take you down the memory lane :)
Blessed are the Pros for they shall keep pwning the NOOBs till the end of times!! – Part I
The definition of a Pro and existence of one amongst us has been one of the most controversial and longest trialing debates in the CS camp, and has continued for a very long time now. This debate is also baseless like many others *let’s say almost all others*. The most interesting thing about it is that whoever claims to be the Pro *usually GecKo* is mocked, ridiculed and jeered upon by the rest *sigh!*. The boys I believe sometimes act a little childish at both sides Gecko with his bragging and the rest with pulling his legs. But at least Gecko doesn’t mind others calling themselves pros instead he wants them to call themselves a pro and started acting like them. I think they should start considering the same.
Since their relocation to Gamerz Heaven things have improved when it comes down to gaming. All the guys really have improved like the Grand Guru of CS *the proven one with the most khurak* usually says. Razi aka Ladla and Khurram aka Offender, who were usually treated as the underdogs started leading the score cards. Zeeshan aka Malangi, started moving while firing, making him a difficult target *he still runs with his bootha open L some things just cant be helped! =P*. Chunnu aka U, started using the Deagle to supreme authority. Asif aka Hitman became a far better Sniper than he was. Everyone has improved!
The guys recently played a match against the team MKF. MKF aka the Mou Kay Fire or Mohallay Kai Function *I don’t remember the other alias correctly but if this is correct I think it would look better as Mohallay Kai Funter*. Anyways the match was decided with the following line-ups:
GecKo, U, GhostRider, Mani and Sameer
Hitman, Capt, Adiel, Jim and Saad
Oct 5, 2008: The match was being scheduled due to the fact that Asif’s cousins wanted to play against the guys *or what I see is Asif’s SECRET dream of reaching to stardom!! =D*. Sameer mysteriously went missing on the day when the team members were to be decided. Tension gripped U and Gecko as they had to go with a lighter option either Nonna or some other guy. The next day was a weird day, Sameer still out of contact, and the game finalized. GecKo contacted Ladla to see if he could get through with Sameer and that is when Ladla for the first time showed some intent to play the match *wait a minute! OMG I think ladla never tried to contact Sameer! He wanted to play himself!! –this would be another one of our great debates*. Since no other option was open Ladla had to be finalized as our last resort. After inclusion of Ladla in the team the match seemed like a child’s play for the MKF *cause they were expecting Sameer as a key person in the side! And with Ladla they were 5 players of almost equal skills*.
Somehow Gecko wasn’t feeling the pressure and was confident about the match. Everything was going good, everyone was ready or perhaps Gecko thought that, when he got the news that match has been abandoned! He got real mad and asked Asif who said that the match had been abandoned due to the fact that Sameer and Capt are not available. Gecko told him about the substitute player they had brought in for Sameer. After a little while he received a call that the match was still on. Mani came over to his place and they took the car to the game zone. Reaching there another revelation was made when the guys saw Khurram arriving, and it was revealed to Gecko that Khurram was playing in place of Saad a cousin of Asif’s. Then a new issue came up when the news came out that the game zone was occupied. The players decided to go to Scorpionz after a few futile efforts of arranging another venue near by. Gecko after great retaliation *for playing at Scorpionz* decided to drive to jauhar. Reaching there they found the game zone as usual, infested with kids. Another issue that was raised there was that Khurram had disappeared mysteriously now. When he was called upon it was learnt that he was busy playing a cricket match.
The sudden disappearance and no-re-appearance of Khurram left team MKF with 4 players only. The teams got settled in and started playing. The difference of a player was clearly visible and the end result was that clan Lizi *name adopted at the starting of the match* defeated clan MKF in a clean sweep. But the match could not be considered as a credible one with all the mishaps included. So most probably they would be having a re-match sometime soon.
Oct 4, 2008: One day before the match the usual Saturday Night CS event was observed at Scorpionz *due to the fact that no one had the GH booked*. The gaming was as usual pathetic and gave little joy to Gecko at least. And the next day after the match he vowed he wont play at Scorpionz again *he was perhaps the lowest scorer in the match!*. He claimed that he was uncertain about his shots and didn’t know where he was firing. The uncertainty took his confidence away and left him sore to the bone. Only the fact that they won gave him a little solace. But his pledge for not playing at scorpionz ever again didn’t hold true for very long.
Oct 10, 2008: This week the gaming was scheduled for Friday instead of Saturday due to the fact that Sameer wanted to be a part of it. Since this request came in from Dada after a longtime therefore it was respected and accepted. All as usual agreed to it and after a great-fiery debate about the timings the gaming was finalized. Initially GecKo didn’t wanted to be a part of the gaming as he said that the player count was full and there was no need of him. Gecko always thinks for the greater good of the event rather than his personal satisfaction or someone else’s and he always expect the same from others. One issue that has highlighted at GH is that there are only 10 PCs for a match, 5 for each team. Now if the player count increases beyond 10, someone has to sit out of the match-rooms. Usually this someone has to suffer due to the fact that he is sitting out, and since he makes the teams unbalanced, the whole match suffers. Now this comes down to an individual’s realization of the fact, that the whole plan is suffering and he himself is no different. I have seen this particular feeling in Gecko that he is always willing to drop out for a better gaming experience for others. Anyways, the gaming was planned at GH and Gecko promised to feature in it on the special request of Sameer, but this inclusion was conditional. Gecko was promised that if God-Forbid the KESC intervenes *thanks to them many occasions are ruined around the whole country* and the gaming gets shifted to Scorpionz, he wont play. Sameer agreed to this and assured Gecko of his cooperation.
On the said day things started going out as planned, all gathered at the GH and gaming was started, Gecko came straight from work, hungry and tired. Adding to the many miseries about to befall them, the gaming was an unbalanced one, Jaws the stubborn, jumped into gaming even on being denied entry, on the cost that Mani *a far better player* agreed to sit outside. The team Sameer which included Gecko had the upper hand on the game from the beginning, despite being down one person. Just about when the first round of the first map was about to end, KESC mooned on us!! Gecko knew what was about to come and tried to leave *all thanks to Malangi for not letting him do so!*. Cut short all reached the ex-GZ and settled in when Gecko denied that he will play there. This caused a lot of chaos there with people urging Gecko to sit down and play. To my surprise and perhaps to Gecko’s too, Asif wanted to leave when Gecko denied playing *Wow!*. Cut shorter Gecko agreed to sit down and play on a chair that didn’t even have a back-support *alas!*. The usual issues with gears appeared upstairs and people started standing out to get the gear replaced. Those who were silent like anything at GH were jeering like kids who get off from school on the day before vacations; amongst those I will like to mention Mr. Offender who like always was the most annoying of all. Gecko’s side suffered a bitter defeat in the first map; it all came down to that one extra person. Now question arises that how did Gecko’s side managed to score against the other side at GH with an unbalanced team? The answer is fairly simple. Mani was sitting outside and his presence was nowhere to be felt making the game equally poised at 5 players on each side.
During the second map when Gecko’s side was off to a good start and were leading by a round or two the other side requested for a restart due to the fact that their player was not playing. Un-willingly the match was restarted but it was after confirmation from the team that was sitting upstairs. Just when the game started to get into the groove again and things started going good for team Gecko again, another restart was requested from upstairs. This time Gecko was really mad and denied a restart! Gecko was backed by two of his team mates namely Ladla and Capt. But still the server was restarted and game was live once again, and then the disastrous happened. After the second restart team Gecko couldn’t perform as they had done earlier. Pissed on the conditions that were created Gecko asked for a restart now! Again his request was backed by the same two team mates. But as soon as the server was restarted the team upstairs lost it—yelling why this had been done, blaming the team Gecko for whining and within a minute down came a Mani yelling WTF was the problem. Gecko who had been pissed at the earlier restarts just couldn’t take this B.S. unbalanced team to their advantage and two restarts *after confirming their readiness* still they were complaining! He logged off straight away and went up to the counter paid his dues and went straight back to home.
What happened after that, I only came to know about it thru various witnesses and sources. GecKo was blamed for the whole scene created! And he denied the charges. The issue was taken to the Jury *Gmail* and was fought over. Gecko persistently denied all the charges and others also kept bickering with each other for around a week.
